September 2021 is an honor moment for BMW Brilliance as the 4 millionth locally produced BMW car rolls off the production line of its Plant Dadong in Shenyang.

It takes BMW Brilliance 2 years from the 2 million to the 3 million cars.

But the increase from 3 million to 4 million cars produced has been achieved in just 1.5 years, which again refreshes the BMW record.

The four millionth car – new BMW iX3 –is leading a new energy product offensive and well demonstrated the great confidence that BMW Brilliance will extend its future mobility leadership by further developing its R&D and production capabilities in 2022.

Facing the tough situations like outbreaks of the covid-19 pandemic, BMW Brilliance achieved a sales increase, thanks to the great support from Local Government and the mutual trust and cooperation of stakeholders.

The rolling of a NEV model as BMW Brilliance's four millionth car shows once again that we have strong determination to lead China's NEV market and will support China to achieve the goal of carbon neutralization.

The BMW Brilliance Shenyang plants, BMW's biggest production bases worldwide, apply the latest Industry 4.0 technologies and are recognized as pioneers of smart and green manufacturing, strives to tap the potentials of the Chinese market.

The BMW Brilliance Shenyang plants are the first production base worldwide that is covered 100% by 5G network, which contribute with around three quarters of BMW Group's sales volume in China market.
