The Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People's Government held a working talk with the Shenyang Representative Office of Korea Tourism Organization to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in related fields.

Liu Donghai, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People's Government welcomed Yang Won-seok, Chief Representative of the Shenyang Representative Office of Korea Tourism Organization to Shenyang and visited the foreign affairs office  in the first place. Deputy Director Liu Donghai said that Shenyang and South Korea are close to each other in terms of geography, people and culture, and have been maintaining close exchanges and cooperation. Especially during the epidemic prevention and control period, Shenyang and many cities in South Korea interoperated and joined hands to fight against the epidemic, which deeply reflected the profound friendship between the two countries to help and support each other and overcome the difficulties together. Shenyang is rich in tourism resources, and he hoped to further enhance understanding with the Shenyang Representative Office of Korea Tourism Organization, and through the joint efforts of both sides to share resources, build platforms, co-organize activities, seek common development and achieve more practical cooperation results. 

Chief Representative Yang Won-seok said that Shenyang is strategically located, rich in tourism resources, and is one of the cities with the closest relationship with South Korea. The convenient air and sea routes and rich Korean elements make Koreans feel very warm in Shenyang. He hoped that with the support of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People's Government as always, the two sides will cooperate fully to further strengthen the exchange and cooperation between South Korea and Shenyang in tourism, humanities and other fields. 

The Korea Tourism Organization is a public utility unit invested by the Korean government and was established in 1962. It currently has representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Chengdu, Xi'an and Hong Kong. The representative office in Shenyang was established on January 16, 2009.
