On November 15, at the invitation of the Rayong Provincial Government of Thailand, Ye Hang, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal Government, led a working group to visit Rayong Province, which has friendly relationship with Shenyang, and held talks with Anan Nakniyom, the Vice Governor of Rayong Province on further promoting the friendly cooperation between Rayong and Shenyang.

Deputy Director Ye Hang introduced the economic and social development of Shenyang, and he said that Shenyang is deeply studying and implementing the spirit of the important speech of President Xi Jinping at the Symposium on Promoting the Comprehensive Revitalization of Northeast China in the New Era, carrying on the important mission of maintaining the "Five Security" of the country, and anchoring the overall goal of building a national central city and an open and cooperative hub in Northeast Asia, fully implementing the three-year action for the new breakthrough in comprehensive revitalization and the special action of "Revitalizing the New Breakthrough, I want to be the Pioneer" has shown an upward trend in economic and social development, entering a new period of momentum for takeoff, and providing a broader space for further deepening the exchange and cooperation between Shenyang and Rayong Province. Shenyang and Rayong Province established friendly relationship in 2007. We hope to take this visit as an opportunity to further promote pragmatic exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the fields of economy, trade and culture. We welcome people from all walks of life such as the government of Rayong Province, enterprises and young people to visit Shenyang to enhance understanding and cooperation, and continue to promote the stable development of friendly cooperative relations between the two sides.

Vice Governor Anan Nakniyom extended a warm welcome to the working group of Shenyang Foreign Affairs Office and introduced the relevant situation of economic and social development in Rayong Province. Rayong Province is an important node of Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), with 16 industrial parks including Thai-China Rayong Industrial Park, the main industries involving automobiles and parts, electronics, rubber, agricultural products processing and other fields, a total of more than 5,000 foreign enterprises, including Chinese enterprises, have invested in the park. Rayong Province is making great efforts to strengthen the construction of infrastructure such as airports, ports and railways, and it is hoped that more Shenyang enterprises will invest and start business in Rayong to achieve win-win development. At the same time, during his future visit to Shenyang, he is willing to sign an agreement on strengthening the friendly cooperation between the two sides once again.

During the visit, the working group played the "Hello Shenyang" city promotional video and promoted Shenyang, which generated strong responses among representatives from Rayong Province's business, agriculture, tourism, industrial park and other fields, and they expressed their strong desire to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Shenyang in various fields.
