The theme of this exchange exhibition was "Our Festival Celebration". More than 200 primary school students from 12 cities in 6 countries including South Korea, China, Russia, Vietnam, Colombia, and Ethiopia participated in the event. With the joint efforts of the Municipal Government's Foreign Affairs Office and the Municipal Education Bureau, 25 primary school students' paintings from 8 primary schools in Shenyang were selected to participate in the election. With the theme of Spring Festival, Lantern Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, the children carefully described the distinct atmosphere of Chinese traditional festivals, demonstrated the charm and enhanced the confidence of Chinese culture. "The bustling Spring Festival of the Year of Dragon" and "Our Festival Celebration - Spring Festival" won the special prize and excellent prize, and were exhibited in Chuncheon Art Museum. Other works won the encouragement prize.

This exchange exhibition has provided a high-quality platform for young people in our city to enhance their international perspective, tell the story of Shenyang, showcase its image, and deepen friendship with foreign friends. Next, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government will continue to create an upgraded version of "International Shenyang", leverage the advantages of foreign affairs resources, actively assist in social causes such as "Happy Education", "Healthy Shenyang", and "Quality Elderly Care", and build more platforms for deepening international exchange and cooperation in the fields of culture, sports, tourism, medical care, elderly care, and youth.

Chuncheon is the capital of Gangwon-do, South Korea, with an area of 1116 square kilometers and a population of approximately 280,000. It is known as the "birthplace of the Korean Wave". Shenyang and Chuncheon city established a friendly and cooperative relationship in November 2017, and carried out practical exchanges in many fields such as economy and trade, culture, sports, and youth. Especially for the youth exchanges, the two cities conducted close and frequent interaction and achieved fruitful results.
