On September 24, the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Sister City Relationship between Shenyang and Incheon-"Hello Shenyang" International Sister City Mayor Exchange Day Event(Shenyang-Incheon) and the Incheon Metropolitan City Tourism Exhibition was successfully held in Shenyang.

The event was co-sponsored by Shenyang Municipal People's Government and Incheon Metropolitan City Government of ROK, and jointly organized by Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People's Government, Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television, International Exchange Promotion Department of Incheon  and Incheon Tourism Development Bureau. Mr. Yoo Jeong bok, Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City of ROK, Mr. Choi Hee deok, Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shenyang, Mr. Duan Jiyang, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Shenyang, attended the event and delivered speeches. Tourism Development Bureau of Incheon Metropolitan City made a promotional presentation. Leaders in charge of Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television and other relevant units and representatives of a number of travel agencies attended the event, and carried out face-to-face exchanges and interactions with the Incheon tourism industry.

The event kicked off with a beautiful dance performance by the art groups of the two cities. During the event, leaders of the two cities said in their speeches that they sincerely hope the two cities can take the 10th anniversary as a new starting point, jointly seize cooperation opportunities, deeply tap cooperation potential, increase cooperation impetus, further deepen cooperation in fields like industry, economy, trade, education, tourism, strengthen people-to-people exchanges. We will promote the deepening and solid sister-city relations in the new era featuring joint project construction, resource sharing, complementary advantages and win-win cooperation, and contribute to the sound and stable development of China-ROK strategic cooperative partnership. In addition, Shenyang Bureau of Cultural, Tourism, Radio and Television and Incheon Tourism Development Bureau signed the Strategic Cooperation Memorandum, and the tourism industry of the two cities reached cooperation intentions in promoting the development of tourism resources, sending tourists to each other, and learning from each other's advanced experience.

Incheon is one of the six major metropolitan cities in ROK, known as the gateway of Northeast Asia, and one of the most active international sister cities of Shenyang. Since the sister city relationship was established in June 2014, the two cities have carried out practical exchanges and cooperation in many fields such as economy, trade, culture, automobile, smart city, logistics, food and medical beauty, and achieved fruitful results.

Since last year, Shenyang has continued to strengthen "Foreign Affairs +", build an "International Shenyang" with its "Hello, Shenyang" global promotion events renowned by the world, and strive to be a good leader in Liaoning to build a hub of open cooperation in Northeast Asia. The successful holding of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Sister City Relationship between Shenyang and Incheon-"Hello Shenyang" International Sister City Mayor Exchange Day (Shenyang-Incheon) and the Incheon Metropolitan City Tourism Exhibition will further promote the two cities to consolidate the foundation of friendship, deepen practical cooperation and seek mutual benefit and win-win results.
