On November 3, Wang Xinwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee, met with the delegation of French small and medium-sized enterprises led by Ao Ran, President of the French Liaoning Association and Jean-Lou BLACHIER, Vice President of CPME(Confédération des Petites et Moyennes). Emmanuel Loriot, Consul General of Consulate General of France in Shenyang, attended the meeting.

On behalf of the CPC Shenyang MunicipalCommittee and the Municipal Government, Wang Xinwei extended his welcome to all the guests and thanked the French Liaoning Association, the CPMEas well as the Consulate General of France in Shenyang for their enthusiastic support for the cooperation between Shenyang and France. Wang Xinwei stated that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. Earlier this year, President Xi Jinping made a state visit to France and held talks with his counterpart Emmanuel Macron, which provides strategic guidance for the development of Sino French relations. Shenyang is fully implementing the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, following the blueprint outlined by President Xi Jinping and writing the Shenyang chapter of Chinese style modernization by further deepening overall reform. Recently, the State Council has approved Shenyang as the international central city of Northeast Asia, giving Shenyang a more important responsibility and mission, opening up new development space for Shenyang, and providing new investment opportunities for Chinese and foreign enterprises. Shenyang and France have a good foundation for economic, trade, investment, and cultural cooperation and exchanges. It is hoped that the delegation will have a deeper understanding of Shenyang, strengthen matchmaking and deepen cooperation in areas like advanced manufacturing, green energy, economy, trade, logistics, e-commerce, fashion consumption and promote exchanges between Shenyang and France in fields like education, culture, sports and tourism. We will continue to create a market-oriented, law-based and international first-class business environment, support the construction of the China-Europe Trade and Tourism Air Corridor series projects, and provide good services for French small and medium-sized enterprises'investment and development in Shenyang.

Ao Ran, Jean-Lou BLACHIER expressed their gratitude to Shenyang for its care and support to French companies and institutions for their development in Shenyang. They stated that Shenyang is an open, inclusive, and dynamic international city. They will seize opportunities to expand businesses, accelerate the construction of cross-border trade, investment platforms, and industrial parks so as to promote more French small and medium-sized enterprises to visit and cooperate with Shenyang for win-win outcomes.
