On December 3rd, the 17th International Business Week forum was held in Ufa, a friendly Russian city in our city. Xia Junyi, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shenyang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, participated online as a Chinese representative in the "Digitization of Economic Sectors in the New Reality Heading Digital Sovereignty " conference of the forum and delivered a speech.
Xia Junyi shared the active exploration and broad prospects of Liaoning Province in the fields of digital agriculture and smart agriculture, elaborated on the geographical and ecological advantages of our province and the current development status of the agricultural industry, detailed the relevant support policies in the fields of digital agriculture and smart agriculture in recent years, and highlighted the main practices and advanced experiences of key agricultural technology enterprises in the province and city in the field of digital agriculture, such as smart pastures and smart rice and fish comprehensive breeding platforms.
Participants highly appreciated the development status and innovative practice of digital agriculture in Liaoning Province and Shenyang City, and expressed that China and Russia have broad prospects and huge potential for cooperation in the agricultural field. They hoped to share opportunities, strengthen communication, deepen cooperation, and jointly promote the prosperity and development of digital agriculture industry to bring more benefits to the people of the two countries.
