Good news!Shenyang operates a new route under Transport International Router(TIR).
On April 7,two TIR refrigerated trucks carrying 20 tons of ice creams produced by local enterprises in Liaoning province set off from the customs supervision operation site of the Shenyang TIR Logistics Hub.The trucks will exit China via the Baketu Port in Tacheng city of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, pass through Kazakhstan, and finally arrive in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The entire journey will take 8 to 10 days.
The departure marked the official opening of Shenyang's first "China–Kazakhstan–Uzbekistan" route under TIR.Furthermore, this route is an additional cross-border road transport route established by the Shenyang TIR Logistics Hub on the basis of the pre-existing "China–Russia" route.
The Shenyang TIR Logistics Hub has demonstrated robust growth momentum since it was established with the approval of the International Road Transport Union(IRU)on December 27,2024.Up to now,the hub has accumulated 50 TIR vehicle trips, transporting goods worth over 30 million yuan. The types of export goods are diverse, covering a wide range of categories, including machinery and equipment, auto parts, office supplies, and food. The hub is now positioned at the forefront for opening up and high-quality development in Northeast China.
