To accelerate the development of the China-Russia (Shenyang) Economic and Trade Cooperation Industrial Park and deepen economic and trade collaboration with Russia, a delegation from the Shenyang Liaozhong Economic Development Zone Administrative Committee and Liaoning Jinhai Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. recently conducted an on-site inspection in Russia’s Primorsky Krai. The visit aimed to comprehensively promote the Liaozhong Zone of the Shenyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the China-Russia (Shenyang) Economic and Trade Cooperation Industrial Park, while advancing a joint project on processing waste rubber products.

During the trip, the delegation met with the International and External Economic Relations Department of Primorsky Krai, engaging in discussions with Deputy Director Kononov Alexey Yurievich and Galkin Vitaly Alexandrovich, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau. Alexey expressed a commitment to strengthen cooperation with Liaozhong District and actively support Liaoning Jinhai Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. in jointly investing in and establishing factories with Russian partners. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on issues such as qualifications for waste tire recycling, customs requirements, and the local waste tire market.

The delegation also visited Ecostar Co., Ltd., the region’s largest waste tire processing enterprise, where they discussed raw material collection methods, costs, quality standards, production processes, export qualifications, and cooperation models. Preliminary consensus on collaboration was reached. Additionally, the group visited Russia’s Vikta Fisheries Company, exploring opportunities for bonded processing, storage, and distribution of imported frozen seafood products within the Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
