The Shenyang-Baihe HSR entered the stage of joint commissioning and testing on June 1. This marks the official opening of the Shenyang-Baihe HSR is approaching.

The Shenyang-Baihe HSR starts from Shenyangbei Railway Station and runs through Shenyang and Fushun in Liaoning Province, as well as Tonghua, Baishan and Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, and ends at Changbaishan Station of the Dunhua-Baihe Railway.

The Shenyang-Baihe HSR is 430 kilometers long with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. There are a total of 10 stations along the line, including Shenyangbei, Boguan, Fushun, Donghanjia, Xinbin, Tonghua, Baishandong, Jiangyuandong, Changbaishanxi and Changbaishan.

Currently, it takes 3 hours and 26 minutes and 6 hours and 13 minutes respectively to travel from Shenyang and Beijing to Changbai Mountain by high-speed rail. Upon the opening of the Shenyang-Baihe High-speed Railway, the travel time is expected to be reduced to 1.5 hours and 4 hours respectively, greatly reducing the travel time.
