On May 10, Mr. Liu Zhenning, Deputy Secretary General of the Municipal People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries went to Beijing to meet with Mr. Nasser Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultan of Oman to China.

Mr. Liu Zhenning said that China has a long history of friendly exchanges with Arab countries. As an important central city in the northeast region, the core city of Shenyang modernized metropolitan area, advanced equipment manufacturing base and national historical and cultural city, Shenyang and Oman have complementary resource advantages and broad space for cooperation in economic and trade fields, and hope to carry out practical exchanges and cooperation with Oman in many fields and establish sister city relations with relevant Omani cities on this basis.

Mr. Nasser said that Oman and China have a long history of friendly relations and this year Oman will hold activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Oman and China. The Embassy will strongly support Shenyang in promoting good relations with Omani cities. Shenyang enterprises are welcome to invest and develop in Oman and promote practical cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, tourism, trade, etc. The Omani Embassy in China will actively provide assistance to Shenyang enterprises visiting Oman.
