From August 31st to September 3rd, at the invitation of Shenyang People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (Shenyang PAFFC), a delegation led by Felix Kurz, Chairman of Rhein-Neckar Metropolitan Region Germany-China Friendship Association of Germany, and Vice Chairman of Germany-China Friendship Association Federation, visited Shenyang to inspect and coordinate economic and trade cooperation, and promote the German small and medium-sized enterprise park and Heidelberg e-vehicle charging equipment projects.

Chairman Kurz and his delegation inspected the installation site of Heidelberg charging equipment in Huanggu District, and deeply discussed the technical advantages and market prospects of Heidelberg charging equipment in residential and public commercial areas with Gemdale Group, Longhu Group, Wangfujing Outlets, and new energy vehicle sales companies. They reached an agreement with Longrun Technology on promoting Heidelberg charging equipment in the Chinese market, and both parties will implement relevant contract details as soon as possible. They had an in-depth discussion with the Sino-Germany (Shenyang) High End Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park on the cooperation of the Sino-Germany Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Park project and signed an MOU of cooperation. Chairman Kurz and his delegation also inspected New Wonder Medical Company to promote cooperation between the two sides on rehabilitation medical devices.

Liu Zhenning, Deputy Secretary General of the Shenyang PAFFC, also talked with Chairman Kurz and his delegation. Liu Zhenning stated that China Germany cooperation is a model of cooperation between major countries, which is reflected in many fields such as economy and humanities. Shenyang attaches great importance to cooperation with Germany and actively supports the development of German enterprises in Shenyang. Taking BMW Brilliance's 20 year settlement in Shenyang as a symbol, the two sides have a solid foundation and broad prospects for cooperation in fields such as high-end equipment, automotive manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, and industrial services. Shenyang PAFFC will work together with the Germany-China Friendship Association to build an exchange platform and jointly promote practical cooperation in areas such as industrial parks, equipment manufacturing, new energy, and medical devices.

Chairman Kurz said that this visit left a deep impression on him and hoped that new progress could be made in the Sino-German SME Park and the Heidelberg e-vehicle charging equipment project in Shenyang. The Germany-China Friendship Association will continue to strengthen close cooperation with Shenyang PAFFC, actively promote Shenyang to various circles of Germany, establish communication platforms, expand cooperation areas, and let more Germans know and enter Shenyang, invest and prosper in Shenyang.
