The article introduces the upward development trend, solid and strong industrial foundation, continuously demonstrating open advantages, and continuously optimizing development environment of Shenyang. It reviews the fruitful achievements of Shenyang's exchange and cooperation with ROK, and looks forward to the future direction of exchange and cooperation between the two sides. As another initiative of the Municipal Government's Foreign Affairs Office to actively create an upgraded version of an "International Shenyang", this article showcases the achievements of our city in promoting high-quality development and expanding high-level opening-up to the outside world to all sectors of Korea. It provides a platform and expands channels for telling the story of Shenyang well, spreading its voice, and promoting wider, deeper, and higher-level exchanges and cooperation between Shenyang and ROK.

The Governors Association of the Republic of Korea was established in January 1999 with the aim of promoting local governments in Korea to strengthen mutual communication, negotiate to solve problems, and carry out international cooperation. Currently, it has overseas offices in six cities including Beijing. Monthly China mainly introduces the social and economic development of China and the exchange and cooperation between local governments of China and ROK to more than 300 units such as ROK local governments, international organizations, social organizations, and various ROK institutions and groups stationed in China.
