From August 5th to August 9th, the 4th International Youth Conference with the theme of "Survival Guide from Digital Sapiens in the DX age" was held in  Seongnam of ROK, the friendly and cooperative city of Shenyang. The Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal Government, together with the Municipal Education Bureau, organized 10 high school students from No.7 Middle School of Shenyang to participate in the conference and interact with nearly 100 young people from ROK, the United States, Japan, Indonesia, and Vietnam to renew friendship.

The students experienced the cutting-edge digital innovation achievements of ROK at Pangyo Techno Valley, known as the "Silicon Valley of ROK". They talked with foreign friends about China's digital transformation achievements and the wide application of digitalization in daily life. They introduced the "International Shenyang" with profound heritage, beautiful ecology, openness, friendliness, and modern vitality to foreign young friends, vividly spreading the voice of Shenyang, telling the story of Shenyang well, and showcasing the vigorous vitality of the city's youth. During the 5-day exchange activity, students got a close look at the city, tasted authentic Korean cuisine, and experienced traditional Korean culture and modern art. They all expressed that this was an unforgettable learning and experiencing journey, which not only broadened their international horizons, but also formed deep friendships with young people from various countries. In the future, they will strive to become ambassadors for international exchanges.

The Seongnam International Youth Conference is hosted by the Seongnam City Youth Foundation and has been held every two years since 2015. It has been successfully held for four times so far. Seongnam City is the center city of technological innovation in ROK, and Pangyo Techno Valley gathers a cluster of cutting-edge technology research and innovation industries in ROK. Seongnam City is Shenyang's first friendly and cooperative city in ROK. Since the establishment of the friendly and cooperative relationship in 1998, the two cities have carried out practical exchanges and cooperation in many fields such as economy, trade, science and technology, innovation, culture, and youth exchange, and have achieved fruitful results.
