Recently, Ye Hang, Deputy Director of Shenyang FAO, led a working group to conduct on-site research on international community development in Caixia Community (Hunnan District), Xinshijiehuayuan III Community (Heping District), Jianyuan Community (Shenhe District), and Vanke Sino-German International Community (Tiexi District). The reasearch aimed to further promote Shenyang international community development.

Caixia Community has actively engaged foreign residents in community activities and volunteer services to promote cultural exchanges. Activities such as the "Promoting China-Foreign Exchanges and Showcasing Youthful Vitality" International Youth Cultural Exchange Event, Foreign Residents' Forum on Co-building, Co-governance, and Co-sharing of the Community, and the "Our Festivals" Multicultural Festival have attracted enthusiastic participation from foreign residents. These efforts have enhanced the international atmosphere of the community, established new highlights in Shenyang’s community services for international residents, and effectively promoted the harmonious development of neighborhood relations between Chinese and foreign residents.

Xinshijiehuayuan III Community has pioneered the development of an international service system. By integrating social resources and collaborating with local businesses and organizations, the community serves as a platform to provide residents with diverse services spanning elderly care, education, healthcare, and culture resources, and actively carry out diverse cultural activities cater to residents of all ages and nationalities, delivering internationally-friendly services.

Jianyuan Community, home to a large concentration of international residents, boasts a favorable business environment, well-developed commercial amenities, and abundant educational and medical resources. During the visit, the working group toured Speedwell International Clinic in Kerry Parkside. Equipped with full-range medical facilities, the clinic provides high-quality healthcare services through licensed international medical staff, significantly elevating medical services for expatriates and the international community in the area.

Sino-German International Community, operated by ZDK City Operation and supported by Vanke Property, adheres to international community standards and continuously refines service system. These efforts have strengthened the community’s appeal, offering comprehensive lifestyle amenities for employees of Chinese and foreign enterprises in the the China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park.

Deputy Director Ye Hang highly commended the communities for their productive explorations and substantial achievements in advancing Shenyang’s international community development. He emphasized the need to fully explore and integrate resources, actively promote community internationalization, and deliver higher-quality services for the international community in Shenyang. These efforts, he noted, will significantly elevate the city’s global competitiveness, contributing to the upgraded vision of "International Shenyang" and propelling Shenyang’s construction as an international center city in Northeast Asia to new heights.
