In order to fully implement the general requirements of learning and implementing the theme education of Xi Jinping’s socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics for the new era, themed as “learning ideology, strengthening party spirit, emphasizing practice, and building new achievements” and thoroughly implement the work deployment of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, constantly strengthen “Foreign Affairs Plus”, build “International Shenyang”, promote Shenyang international exchanges, improve the quality, continuously improve the city internationalization level, accelerate the construction of national central city, international central city in Northeast Asia to achieve new results, on the evening of April 28, the “Hello, Shenyang” International Friendship Gala Evening Concert, jointly organized by Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee (Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People’s Government) and Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television, was successfully held at the concert hall of Shengjing Grand Theatre. More than 900 representatives including relevant leaders of the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal People’s Congress, Municipal Government, Municipal CPPCC, Foreign Affairs Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, consular officials of consulates-general of various countries in Shenyang, foreign business associations, foreign-funded enterprises, friends from abroad, Hong Kong and Macao and overseas Chinese and the media attended the event. The concert opens with the Shenyang Symphony Orchestra’s “Carmen Prelude”, featuring orchestral music, soprano and soprano solos, children’s chorus, Peking opera and double Erhu, “Jasmine”, “My Chinese heart”, “Hungarian Dance No. 5”, “Arirang” and “Radetzky March” were presented to the audience. With the beautiful orchestral melody, the audience feel the charm of music in a relaxed and happy atmosphere, building a bridge of friendship for the opening up of Shenyang. At the end of the concert, the orchestra on stage interact with the audience in the cheerful and passionate melody of the “Radetzky March”, putting the atmosphere of the concert to a climax.
