From August 16 to 19, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal Government organized enterprises to attend the "2023 Macao International Environmental  Cooperation Forum and Exhibition" in Macao, and more than 10 people participated in the exhibition from the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Liaoning Shanshui Qing Environmental Protection Technology Co., LTD., Liaoning Environmental Protection Group Co., LTD., Liaoning Huatai Environmental Protection Technology Group Co., LTD., Shenyang International Cultural Exchange Association. Promotional videos of  "Hello Shenyang" and  "Your Presence makes Shenyang's Wonderful Future" were played on a loop at the Shenyang Booth, and the Global Promotion Brochures were distributed at the exhibition, which vigorously promotes Shenyang's preferential policies on talent attraction and its revitalization and development, comprehensively displays the image of Shenyang as an international city, allows exhibitors and Macao citizens to have an in-depth understanding of Shenyang, and impresses Macao with the image of an "International Shenyang" .

The working group of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal Government visited the Macao Policy Research and Regional Development Bureau, Macao Education and Youth Development Bureau, and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Bureau (Complex of Business Cooperation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries) and conducted work exchanges on promoting exchanges between Shenyang and Macao in key areas such as youth, education and commerce, laying a solid foundation for further strengthening cooperation between the two sides.

The "2023 Macao International Environmental  Cooperation Forum and Exhibition" was hosted by Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the PRC and the event has been successfully held for 15 sessions so far, and has become an international brand of exchanges and cooperation in the environmental protection industry. The exhibition lasts from August 17 to 20, with the theme of "Building an Ecological Civilization Through Innovative Initiatives". There are seven exhibition areas and nearly 500 booths. More than 400 exhibitors, including 40 overseas exhibitors, covering a wide range of areas of construction, finance, catering, transportation, water resources, energy saving and environmental protection technology, waste management participated in the exhibition.
