From November 10th to 14th, at the invitation of the Shenyang People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, a delegation of six led by Felix Kurz, Vice Chairman of Germany-China Friendship Association Federation and Chairman of Rhein-Neckar Metropolitan Region Germany-China Friendship Association of Germany, as well as Robin Karpp, CEO of Heidelberg eMobility GmbH,   visited Shenyang.

Liu Zhenning, Deputy Secretary General of Shenyang People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, expressed high appreciation for Chairman Kurz's long-term efforts and contributions to friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two sides during the meeting. He said that China Germany cooperation is a model of major country diplomacy, reflected in multiple fields such as economy, culture and people to people exchanges. Liaoning Province and Shenyang City attach great importance to cooperation with Germany and strongly support the development of German enterprises in Shenyang. Marked by the 20th anniversary of the establishment of BMW Brilliance in Shenyang, the two sides have a solid foundation and broad prospects for cooperation in fields such as high-end equipment, automotive manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, and industrial services. Kurz hoped that both sides will continue to maintain close cooperation, establish communication platforms, expand cooperation, and introduce more German enterprises to invest and develop in Shenyang. He also hoped that this visit to Shenyang could promote the Sino German SME Park project and the Heidelberg electric vehicle charging equipment project, and achieve more cooperation results in various fields such as medicine and art.

During their visit, the delegation inspected parks, enterprises, and universities like Sino German (Shenyang) High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, Gemdale Group, Longrun Technology Co., Ltd., Wangfujing Scitech Outlet, Nmv Desen Biotech Co., Ltd.,Shenyang Conservatory of Music, with a focus on promoting the Sino German Small and Medium Enterprise Park project and the Heidelberg Electric Vehicle Charging Technology Co., Ltd. project to establish a charging equipment production base in Shenyang. In-depth discussions were held with relevant departments regarding the exchange and cooperation between Shenyang and Germany in fields such as pharmaceutical technology and art education.
