International friendship cities are important windows and carriers for international exchanges. At present, Shenyang has established international sister cities and friendly cooperative relations with 102 cities in 47 countries. This conference, held both offline and online, with a focus on economic and trade cooperation, has built a new platform for deepening cooperation among friendship cities.

Shenyang is a vibrant city of innovation, an inclusive and open city, a city rich in cultural heritage, and a happy city ideal for living and working. Under the guidance of President Xi Jinping, Shenyang is leading all round revitalization through further deepening reform comprehensively, aiming to become a national central city. Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television, CCPIT Shenyang Sub-council, Heping District, Huanggu District, Dadong District, Shenyang Economic Development Zone, Liaozhong District, and relevant enterprises signed cooperation agreements or LOI with foreign parties. Erich Kaiserseder, Chair of the European Chamber of Commerce Shenyang Chapter, and Li Wei, Honorary Chairman of the Global Entrepreneurs Association of Australia, were appointed as the "Hello Shenyang" Global Promotion Ambassador; Tan Jinghua, President of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (China) Co., Ltd. Shenyang Branch, and Lin Weihao, Chairman of Liaoning Shangben Data Service Group Co., Ltd., were appointed as Shenyang Global Investment Promotion Representative.

On the same day, Wang Xinwei also met with Yoo Jeong bok and his delegation. Wang Xinwei pointed out that China and Republic of Korea are important neighbors and cooperative partners of each other. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of sister city relationship between Shenyang and Incheon. Over the past decade, both sides have maintained close and friendly exchanges, and the cooperation has achieved remarkable results. It is the hope to take the important consensus reached by the heads of states as a guide, leverage complementary advantages, adhere to mutual benefit and win-win outcome, deepen pragmatic cooperation and achieve more results in jointly promoting industrial development, expanding consumer markets, promoting technological innovation, deepening cultural exchanges, and other aspects. Yoo Jeong bok highly praised the good development momentum of Shenyang, stating that Incheon and Shenyang have broad cooperation space and will further strengthen exchanges and exchanges to achieve win-win development.
