On September 28th, the "Stories All Around Shenyang" Foreign Language Speech Contest was successfully held at the library of Shenyang University. This contest was jointly hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government, the Information Office of the Municipal Government, Shenyang Federation of Social Sciences, Shenyang Committee of the Communist Youth League Committee, and Shenyang University, organized by the Foreign Language College of Shenyang University and Shenyang Chinese Culture for Overseas Communication Research Center, and has received strong support from CRI Online Liaoning Channel and China Daily Liaoning Bureau.

This competition is an important part of the "Hello Shenyang" series of activities, focusing on promoting the selection, reserve, and development of foreign language translation talents in our city, and providing solid talent support for the development of "International Shenyang". More than a thousand contestants competed fiercely, and 12 contestants won first prizes in the junior group, youth group, and adult group respectively. The contestants used vivid language and sincere emotions to narrate their inseparable bond with Shenyang, showcasing the human touch and hustle and bustle of the fashionable and international city.

With the theme of "Stories All Around Shenyang", the contest uses foreign languages as a window to the world, allowing the stories of Shenyang to cross language barriers, allowing more people to feel the unique charm, and fully understand the historical depth of the city, enhance understanding and friendship among different cultures, and promote the construction of a more harmonious and diverse world.
