Breaking news!A national-level event is coming to Shenyang.

The 1st National Youth Track and Field Games will be held in Shenyang from August 10 to August 15.

The National Youth Track and Field Games is planned to be held annually,with athletes under the age of 18 participating.The first Games will be organized with provinces,autonomous regions,municipalities directly under the Central Government as participating units.The Games will span six days and feature 56 events,with approximately 1,300 athletes expected to compete.In line with the policies of the National Youth Games for Football,Basketball and Volleyball,the men's and women's team scores and rankings of each delegation at the National Youth Track and Field Games will be included in the total scores of the corresponding cycle of the National Games.

In recent years,Shenyang has accumulated a lot of successful experience in holding track and field events.This newly established high-profile event will not only promote the further development of track and field sports in Shenyang,but also attract a large number of track and field enthusiasts to the city.Combined with the concept of "traveling with sports events",the Games will effectively promote the high-quality integrated development of culture,sports and tourism in Shenyang.
