10月25日，沈阳市与匈牙利贝凯什乔包州级市在线举行签字仪式，两市结为友好合作关系城市。沈阳市市长吕志成与贝凯什乔包州级市市长扎瓦斯·彼得共同在线签署建立友好合作关系城市协议书。沈阳市国际友城达到101个。

吕志成市长在致辞中说，中国和匈牙利是老朋友、好伙伴，两国传统友谊和人民友好源远流长，今年又是中匈全面战略伙伴关系建立5周年，为两国地方层面加强交流合作奠定了坚定基础。沈阳市将以此次双方结好为契机，与贝凯什乔包州级市面向未来、相向而行，共同融入“一带一路”，充分利用两市在资源禀赋、产业发展等方面的相融互补性，实现更高水平的互惠互利和共赢发展，共同推动两市交流合作向更宽领域、更深层次迈进，携手共筑友谊桥，同心共谋新发展！

扎瓦斯·彼得在致辞中表示，朋友的选择是基于彼此的尊重和信任，双方合作的最重要目标之一是建立友好关系和加强沟通，为两市发展开创更多机遇和合作空间，共同推进文化进步和经济发展。

中国驻匈牙利大使齐大愚专门发来贺信，他表示，今年是中匈建交73周年，也是中匈全面战略伙伴关系建立5周年。地方合作是中匈务实合作的重要组成部分，为增进两国人民之间的理解和友谊、推动双边关系发展发挥了重要作用。期待双方友谊不断加深，合作取得新成果，携手谱写两市友好交往的崭新篇章，为中匈全面战略伙伴关系添砖加瓦、贡献力量。

贝凯什乔包州级市位于匈牙利东南部，是贝凯什州首府和行政中心，匈牙利24个州级市之一，历史文化悠久，农产品加工和汽车制造等产业发达。自2015年起，两市在经贸、文化等领域开展了多层次的深入交流，随着两市结好协议书的签署，双方将在经贸旅游、科学技术、文化教育、卫生环保等多领域开展全方位交流合作，借助中欧班列等有利条件，打造“一带一路”国际合作新平台，推动沈阳建设国家中心城市和东北亚国际化中心城市。

Friendly And Cooperative Relationship Established Between Shenyang City And Békéscsaba City of County Rank of Hungary

On October 25, Shenyang City of the People’s Republic of China and Békéscsaba City of County Rank of Hungary held the online signing ceremony of Agreement on the Establishment of Friendly and Cooperative Relationship. Mayor Lyu Zhicheng of Shenyang and Mayor Szarvas Peter of Békéscsaba signed the agreement online. This marks that the number of international friendship cities of Shenyang reached 101.

Mayor Lyu Zhicheng noted in his speech that China and Hungary are old friends and good partners, sharing a long-lasting friendship between the two countries and two peoples. This year marks the 5th anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Hungary, which has laid a solid foundation for further exchanges and cooperation at sub-national levels. Shenyang will take the establishment of friendly and cooperative relationship as an opportunity to work together with Békéscsaba to jointly play an active role in Belt and Road cooperation, fully leverage their complementarity in areas such as resource endowment and industrial development, broaden and deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two cities,  and build a bridge of friendship together for win-win development at higher levels. 

Mayor Szarvas Peter highlighted in his speech that the choice of friends is based on mutual respect and trust. One of the most important objectives of their cooperation is to establish friendly relations, strengthen communication, create more opportunities for win-win development of the two cities, and jointly promote cultural and economic progress.

Qi Dayu, the Chinese ambassador to Hungary, sent a congratulatory letter to the ceremony, pointing out that this year marks the 73rd anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 5th anniversary of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Hungary. As an important part of China-Hungary practical cooperation, sub-national cooperation has played an important role in enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples and promoting the development of bilateral relations. It is hoped that the two cities will further enhance their friendship, achieve more fruitful outcomes in their cooperation, jointly open a new chapter in the history of friendly exchanges and contribute to China-Hungary comprehensive strategic partnership. 

Located in the southeast of Hungary, Békéscsaba is the capital and administrative center of the Békés County and one of the 24 cities of county rank in Hungary, and enjoys a long history and rich cultural heritages. Its agricultural products processing and automobile manufacturing industries are well developed. Since 2015, the two cities have carried out multi-level in-depth exchanges in economy, trade, culture and other fields. With the signing of the agreement, the two sides will facilitate all-round exchanges and cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, tourism, science and technology, culture, education, healthcare and environmental protection. With favorable conditions such as the China-Europe freight trains, the two cities will build a new platform for Belt and Road cooperation, and promote Shenyang to build itself into a national central city and an international central city in Northeast Asia.
