10月25日，市委副书记、市长吕志成会见了德国驻沈阳总领事馆总领事毕满天一行。

吕志成在会见时说，今年是中德建交50周年，也是德国驻沈阳总领事馆开馆10周年。多年来，沈阳与德国各界交往日益密切，在汽车、装备制造、环保以及文化、体育等多领域开展了务实合作。当前，沈阳市正在深入学习贯彻党的二十大精神，贯彻落实习近平总书记在辽宁、沈阳考察时的重要讲话精神，按照省委、省政府的部署，加快建设国家中心城市和东北亚国际化中心城市、为全省作出“五个示范”，奋力在新时代东北振兴上展现更大担当和作为。沈阳市愿与德国各界进一步加强经贸交流与合作，希望德国驻沈阳总领事馆积极向德国各界宣传推介沈阳，吸引更多德国企业来沈投资兴业。我们将持续优化营商环境，进一步畅通与德资企业沟通交流渠道，为德资企业在沈发展创造良好条件。

毕满天表示，德国驻沈阳总领事馆将积极发挥桥梁纽带作用，帮助更多德国企业了解沈阳、投资沈阳，为加深中德两国友谊、推动双方交流合作作出努力。

市领导周舟就推进沈阳与德国各界经贸交流合作相关事宜作了说明。中国欧盟商会代表、部分在沈德资企业代表参加会见。

Lyu Zhicheng Meets with Consul General of Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Shenyang

Mr. Lyu Zhicheng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shenyang, met with Mr. Matthias Biermann, Consul General of Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Shenyang and his delegation on October 25.

Mayor Lyu Zhicheng noted that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany and the 10th anniversary of the German Consulate General in Shenyang. Over the years, interactions between Shenyang and Germany have become ever more vibrant, and our cooperation has yielded fruitful outcomes in sectors such as automobile, equipment manufacturing, environmental protection, culture and sports. Shenyang is implementing the guiding principles laid out at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), acting on the important speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour of Liaoning and Shenyang, following the decisions of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Liaoning Provincial Government, redoubling efforts to build Shenyang into a national central city, setting examples in five areas for the Province, and shouldering greater responsibility and making further endeavors in revitalizing Northeast China in the new era. Shenyang will work with Germany to further strengthen economic and trade exchanges and cooperation. It is hoped that German Consulate General in Shenyang will promote Shenyang to people of various sectors in Germany and introduce more German companies to invest and develop in Shenyang. Shenyang will continuously improve its business environment, further expand the channels of communication and exchanges with German companies and foster favourable conditions for German companies to develop in Shenyang.

Consul General Matthias Biermann said that German Consulate General in Shenyang will serve as a bridge to help more German companies to have a better understanding of Shenyang and invest in Shenyang, and strive to deepen China-Germany friendship and promote bilateral exchanges and cooperation.

Deputy Mayor Zhou Zhou explained efforts Shenyang has been and will be making to facilitate exchanges and cooperation between Shenyang and Germany. Representatives from EU Chamber of Commerce in China and some German enterprises in Shenyang were present at the meeting.
