Shenyang, the capital city of Northeast China's Liaoning province, will accelerate the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy this year.

As an essential step to implementing the development plan, Shenyang's government recently announced establishing an enterprise cultivation reserve database related to strategic emerging industries and the digital economy.

Enterprises that the reserve pool has recognized will be given priority to enjoy the financial subsidy policy for strategic emerging industries in Shenyang. These firms will also receive priority support in significant project construction, public service platform construction, government procurement and talent introduction.

Enterprises included in the reserve pool are required to carry out technology, product and craft innovation to accelerate the pace of development.

Since last year, Shenyang has made positive progress in the cultivation of the digital economy.

It opened 7,321 5G base stations, developed 128 application scenarios and successfully held the Global Industrial Internet Conference.

The Liaoning branches of the China Industrial Internet Research Institute and the National Industrial Internet Big Data Center were also established.

This year, Shenyang will give full play to the city's industrial digital scene resource advantages and digital industrial data resource advantages to cultivate and strengthen digital industrial clusters.

Authorities will accelerate the construction of digital economy infrastructure, and they will build more than 6,000 new 5G base stations.
