On May 15th, Chen Shuangwei, Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal Government led a special work team to visit Shenyang Vanke China-Japan Industrial Park for an on-site research, during which the director gained in-depth understanding of the construction, investment progress and the registration of enterprises of the park.

Chen Shuangwei said that Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal Government has always taken the promotion of the construction of Vanke China-Japan Industrial Park as one of the key tasks, strengthened the special working team mechanism, and provided all-round service guarantee for the construction of the park. It is hoped that Vanke China-Japan Industrial Park will adhere to the principle of "integration of production, life and ecology", build international public service supporting facilities and characteristic blocks with a world perspective and international standards, and further enrich and improve the diversified industrial ecology in line with international standards to build the industrial park into a vibrant international industrial park which is suitable for citizens, foreigners and all kinds of talents to work, live, study and travel, and inject new highlights to "International Shenyang".

Shenyang Vanke China-Japan Industrial Park is located between the South Third and Fourth Ring Roads in Hunnan District, Shenyang City, covering a total area of approximately 1100 mu (181 acres). It is a key investment and cooperation project in Liaoning Province. The park follows the innovative model of "government support, enterprise leadership, and Sino Japanese coconstruction", and plans to create a new urban industrial residential area with "one core, two axes, one riverway, and five industrial clusters", constructing a four-dimensional integration project of industry and city with "employment, housing, education, and tourism". As of now, Shenyang Vanke China-Japan Industrial Park has signed multiple strategic cooperation agreements with 36 Japanese enterprises such as Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsui, Rosen, Panasonic, and Toshiba, and multiple enterprises have settled in the park.

In the next step, Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal Government will adhere to the principle of "Prioritizing projects, attracting investment and promoting settlement", give full play to the advantages of foreign resources channels, and go all out to promote the construction of Vanke China-Japan Industrial Park project. First, we will carry out the work of "going out" and "inviting in". Together with Vanke China-Japan Industrial Park and Hunnan District, Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal Government will continue to strengthen communication and contact with Consulate General of Japan in Shenyang, Japan External Trade Organization, Japan-China Economic Association, banks and business enterprises, target key enterprises, expand project reserves, and promote the implementation of projects under discussion. Second, we will build a platform for economic and trade cooperation. Foreign Affairs Office will organize Vanke China-Japan Industrial Park to participate in large-scale exhibitions and activities such as Liaoning International Fair of Investment and Trade, and China International Import Expo, make full use of and give full play to the role of national, provincial and municipal economic and trade platforms, strengthen information exchange and seek cooperation opportunities. Third, carry out joint investment promotion activities to promote the settlement of projects. Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal Government will form a government-enterprise joint investment promotion team, and visit key Japanese enterprises, industry leaders and business associations in Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Dalian. We will invite business groups to Shenyang for business negotiation, and promote a number of joint venture cooperation projects to achieve substantial progress.
