On August 23rd, Liu Shanghao, the Chief Representative of the Daegu City Government in Shanghai, South Korea, and his delegation visited Shenyang. Liu Donghai, Deputy Director of the Municipal Government's Foreign Affairs Office, held work talks with the delegation and accompanied them to the Qidi China South Korea Science and Technology Park for work coordination.

Deputy Director Liu Donghai introduced the basic situation, development status, development goals, and fruitful achievements of Shenyang's exchanges and cooperation with South Korea. He stated that the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government is actively carrying out the "Foreign Affairs in Parks" initiative, implementing the "One City, One Chain" extension project and the "One City, One Park" pairing project. By promoting key parks and enterprises to sister cities, advanced technologies and key projects to sister cities, we are promoting precise docking between key parks, enterprises, and sister cities in our city, opening up channels for external exchange, and strengthening the platform for opening up to the outside world. I hope that the representative office of the Daegu Municipal Government in Shanghai can share industrial resources with the Qidi Sino Korean Science and Technology Park, tap into the potential of cooperation, and achieve win-win development.

Mao Shuo, the Chairman of Qidi Technology Development Co., Ltd., introduced the group's global technology innovation network, core industries of Shenyang Qidi China South Korea Science and Technology Park, progress of related projects, and future development plans to the delegation. He expressed his hope to engage in practical cooperation with Daegu City in fields such as medical beauty, energy conservation and environmental protection, and information communication.

Liu Shanghao, the chief representative, stated that Daegu is vigorously cultivating five strategic industries: urban air transportation, semiconductor, healthcare, ABB (AI, big data, blockchain), and robotics. The next step will be to actively promote industry docking in relevant fields between the two cities, and promote practical cooperation between Daegu related institutions and Qidi China South Korea Science and Technology Park. I hope to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of people to people and culturewith Shenyang City and enhance mutual friendship.

Our city and Daegu city established a friendly cooperative relationship in December 2003. Daegu City is one of the six major metropolitan areas in South Korea, with an area of 883.54 square kilometers and a population of approximately 2.5 million. It is a famous city of art, medicine, sports, education, and future industries in South Korea.
