On August 14th, Annette Sévery, the newly-appointed Consul General of the German Consulate General in Shenyang, and his delegation visited the China Germany Industrial Park (CGIP). Xue Qingbin, Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone and the CGIP, and Deputy Director Zhang Shaohong accompanied the delegation during the visit and held discussions, during which they showcased the achievements in the construction of the CGIP and explored ways to expand exchange and cooperation with Germany.

Xue Qingbin systematically introduced the CGIP in terms of its planning and construction, industrial development, green transformation, as well as the outcomes of cooperation with Germany. He stated that the industrial park has always been committed to providing a high-quality development environment and full-chain services. In the future, efforts will be made to further deepen cooperation with Germany in fields such as high-end equipment manufacturing, green and low-carbon development, and the digital economy. He expressed the expectation that the Consulate General will continue to play its role as a bridge and link, and facilitate the settlement of more German enterprises in the park.

Annette Sévery and his delegation visited Heraeus Quartz (Shenyang) to learn about the company's production and operation as well as its localized development; inspected the China-Germany Enterprises International Innovation and Incubation Center and the CGIP Government Service Center to get to know their provision of full-chain services for overseas startups; and visited the Global Industrial Internet Conference Center, Shenyang International Pump Track Park, and Sino-German International Street, experiencing the international atmosphere of the park that is suitable for both living and working. Consul General Annette Sévery highly appreciated the development achievements of the CGIP and put forward constructive suggestions on promoting practical cooperation between enterprises of the two sides and conducting people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

This event will inject new impetus into deepening cooperation and joint development between both sides, making the CGIP a new benchmark for Europe-China cooperation.
