Shenyang Players Compete in "China-Russia Sister Cities and Friendly Cooperation Relations Cities Chess Friendly Match"

On August 18, the China-Russia Sister Cities and Friendly Cooperation Relations Cities Chess Friendly Match was successfully held in Kazan, Russia. Teams from 31 cities across China and Russia participated in the event. The Shenyang Chess Association sent six players to compete online, earning high praise from the organizing committee for their superb skills and consistent performance.

As part of the series of activities of the 3rd Russia-China Mutually Beneficial Cooperation "SPROUTS" Forum, hosted by the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, the match was organized by the Kazan Municipal Government. The event aimed to promote the development of intellectual sports, enhance sports cooperation between China and Russia, and strengthen friendly relations between cities of the two countries.

The "SPROUTS" Forum attracts government agencies, enterprises, and international organizations from over 20 countries and 50 Russian regions each year.
