On August 27, Chen Shuangwei, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang People’s Municipal Government, led a work team to TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co., Ltd. for research on the development of the company in foreign countries.
Liu Yongqing, General Manager of TBEA Shenyang Transformer Co., Ltd., introduced the company's overseas business development. Up to now, the company has established more than 30 offices worldwide, providing over 1,000 sets of high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage transformer products with voltage levels ranging from 66kV to 765kV to more than 60 countries and regions. It has also actively participated in the power grid planning and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects of key countries jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative. The company is capable of providing integrated "turnkey" engineering services for substations and power transmission and distribution lines of all voltage levels below 765kV overseas, covering survey, design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and training, thus realizing the comprehensive export of products, technologies, brands and standards. General Manager Liu Yongqing stated that the healthy development of the enterprise in recent years has benefited from the continuous improvement of Shenyang's international business environment and the strong support of the foreign affairs work of Shenyang for enterprises' "going global" initiatives. The enterprise will further accelerate its "going global" pace, continue to expand overseas market, and contribute more to the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Director Chen Shuangwei pointed out that serving Shenyang's high-level opening-up and high-quality development is one of the key priorities of the Shenyang FAO. Shenyang FAO is striving to upgrade its foreign affairs services to "enter parks, reach enterprises and benefit the people", implement the "Foreign Affairs Assists Enterprises in Going Global" campaign, and continue to carry out activities such as "Leading Cadres Enter Enterprises to Serve the New Breakthrough in Revitalization" and "100 Personnel Enter 100 Enterprises". Efforts will be made to conduct in-depth research on enterprises' needs for foreign cooperation, provide precise foreign affairs services for enterprises to "go global" and explore the international market, build a "direct service channel", and act as the "chief service officer". In particular, the successful hosting of the 2025 SCO Forum on People-to-People Friendship and the Forum on Friendship Cities in Shenyang in July this year has opened a new chapter for exchanges and cooperation with SCO countries. Shenyang FAO will continue to play its role as a bridge and link, actively providing policies and services to enterprises, facilitating cooperation and solving problems, so as to help enterprises explore more international markets. In addition, Shenyang FAO will also continue to carry out publicity activities to promote consular protection knowledge in enterprises to support the safe overseas development of enterprises.
