On November 5, over 40 international students from 17 countries including Russia, South Africa, Nigeria and Ethiopia embarked on a "Tour on the Memory of the War of Resistance Against the Japanese Aggression in Shenyang".
The international students first visited the Shenyang WWII Allied Prisoners Camp Site Museum. The special exhibition "Justice Knows No Boundaries, Allies in the Flames - International Friends in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression" became the focus of this visit. Through precious historical photos and physical historical materials, the exhibition vividly restored the glorious journey of international friends and groups joining hands with the Chinese people to resist aggression during the war.
The second stop of the activity was the 9.18 Historical Museum in Shenyang. Here, the international students listened to the explanations with solemn expressions and gained a systematic understanding of the September 18 Incident, which marked the beginning of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against the Japanese Aggression.
The international students who participated in the activity all expressed that they would share what they saw and felt during this activity with their relatives and friends back home, so that more people would know about the international stories during the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against the Japanese Aggression and jointly safeguard the hard-won peace.
