On March 23, the launching ceremony for the construction of the CGIP Zero-Carbon Park Project was held at the China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenyang (CGIP).A number of key projects in fields such as green equipment, infrastructure, energy and carbon management and intelligent computing power were simultaneously signed and implemented for construction.

As a core project of the industrial park, the Envision Zero-Carbon New Energy High-End Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Base launched this time will lay out high-end intelligent electrical industries such as frequency converters and energy storage converters in the park. It will realize the localized production of core equipment for both the wind turbine and energy storage industrial chains, and build a complete industrial chain from green power supply to zero-carbon manufacturing.Upon completion, the base will have an annual assembly capacity of 5GWh of energy storage equipment and 400 sets of large-megawatt wind turbines.

On the same day, the CGIP Smart Energy and Carbon Management Platform, serving as the "zero-carbon brain" of the park, was officially put into operation and is gradually connecting with 124 industrial enterprises above the designated size in the park.The platform integrates four core functions, including energy monitoring, carbon emission accounting, green power dispatch and intelligent optimization, and connects the entire chain of energy and carbon management through digital technologies, enabling enterprises in the park to access cheaper "green electricity" and achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Simultaneously with the launch of the platform, the CGIP Zero-Carbon Exhibition Center was put into operation. Relying on multimedia digital sand tables and project exhibitions, the center showcases cutting-edge technological applications such as flywheel energy storage for frequency regulation, BMW's green geothermal heating, and AI photovoltaic-storage-charging. It also features an interactive carbon footprint experience to visually demonstrate the process of carbon emissions and carbon neutrality.
