Recently, Annette Sévery, German Consul General in Shenyang, paid a visit to two pillar enterprises in the city: SIASUN Robot & Automation Co., Ltd. and Neusoft Medical Systems Co., Ltd. The visit was accompanied by Sun Ye, Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People’s Government.

At the SIASUN Product Exhibition Center, Zhang Jin, President of SIASUN, briefed Consul General Annette Sévery on the company’s overall operations. He noted that SIASUN has set up overseas branches, subsidiaries and regional hubs in Germany, Japan, the United States and other locations worldwide, with its products exported to more than 40 countries and regions across the globe. Leveraging its global industrial layout, SIASUN will collaborate with overseas partners including German counterparts to pursue collaborative innovation in the integrated development of intelligent robots and artificial intelligence in the future.

During the visit of Neusoft Medical Systems, Zhang Dan, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Global Business Center of the company, stated that Neusoft Medical Systems has established subsidiaries in 16 countries, with business presence spanning over 130 countries and regions with a historical installed amount of 53,000 medical devices. As a pacesetter in Europe’s medical technology sector and marketplace, Germany occupies a pivotal position in the company’s global development strategy. It is the hope to explore broader cooperation opportunities with German medical institutions and relevant enterprises in the R&D of high-end imaging equipment, telemedicine, as well as smart healthcare management.

Consul General Annette Sévery spoke highly of the accomplishments achieved by the two enterprises in high-end manufacturing. She remarked that this field visit allowed her to gain a tangible understanding of Shenyang’s solid industrial foundation and robust innovation momentum. The German Consulate General in Shenyang will act as a bridge by organizing delegations of German specialists and entrepreneurs to visit Shenyang for on-site visits of outstanding local enterprises such as SIASUN and Neusoft Medical Systems. Targeted matchmaking of demands between both sides will be carried out to advance practical cooperation among enterprises in technological R&D, supply chain coordination and market expansion, thereby delivering mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties.

Director Sun Ye stated during the event that the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office will continue to deliver high-quality foreign affairs services and further improve the business environment. More platforms and improved services will be provided for enterprises based in Shenyang to carry out international exchanges and cooperation, enabling local businesses to better integrate into global industrial and innovation chains. The office will contribute more through foreign affairs work to help Shenyang secure new progress in its comprehensive revitalization drive.
