Delegation from Chuncheon, ROK Attends the 11th Peace Cup International Juvenile Football Tournament in 2025

From August 11 to 19, a delegation from Chuncheon City, ROK, visited Shenyang. The youth football team accompanying the delegation attended the 11th Peace Cup International Juvenile Football Tournament and relevant activities.This marks the third time that Chuncheon has sent a team to attend the Peace Cup International Youth Juvenile Tournament. The visit of the Chuncheon delegation has written a new chapter in the friendly cooperation between Shenyang and Chuncheon.As the capital city of Gangwon Province, ROK, Chuncheoncovers an area of 1,116 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 280,000. It is renowned as the origin of Hallyu. Shenyang and Chuncheon established friendly cooperative city relationship in November 2017 and have engaged in practical exchanges in various fields such as economy and trade, culture, sports and youth activities. In particular, since Shenyang Municipal Sports Bureau and Chuncheon Municipal Sports Association signed an exchange agreement in 2023, cooperation in youth football between the two sides has grown increasingly close.
