"Hello, Shenyang" Consular Officers and Foreign Enterprise Representatives "Golden Autumn Tour in Shenyang" Event Held

On September 19, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shenyang Municipal People's Government, together with Consulates-General in Shenyang and representatives of some foreign-funded enterprises in the city, jointly held the "Hello, Shenyang" event - "Golden Autumn Tour in Shenyang" for consular officers and foreign enterprise representatives. The event included visits to international communities, international hospitals and key enterprises. Consul General of France in Shenyang Emmaunel Loriot, consular officers from the Consulates-General of the United States, Japan, Russia and the Republic of Korea in Shenyang, as well as representatives from some foreign-funded enterprises in Shenyang such as Michelin Shenyang Tire Co., Ltd., Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Shenyang Office and Korean Air Shenyang Representative Office, attended the event.

Consular officers and foreign enterprise representatives first visited Caixia Community in Hunnan District, one of Shenyang's first batch of key international communities to be built. Founded in March 2013, Caixia Community has a permanent population of about 16,000, including nearly 400 foreign residents from more than 20 countries such as the Republic of Korea, Japan and the United Kingdom. The community has promoted exchanges and integration among residents from different cultural backgrounds by engaging foreign volunteers in community services, organizing a variety of international cultural exchange activities, building multilingual communication and co-governance platforms, and relying on brand events like "Our Festivals". During the visit, the foreign guests highly praised Caixia Community for its strong international atmosphere, refined service model and open and inclusive community culture.

At Neusoft Medical Systems Co., Ltd., the consular officers and foreign enterprise representatives visited the Neusoft Medical Brand Experience Center to gain an in-depth understanding of the innovation journey and technological strength of this leading Chinese enterprise in high-end medical equipment. During the visit, the foreign guests showed great interest in Neusoft Medical's full product line and stopped to communicate in the exhibition areas of high-end equipment such as CT, MRI and PET/CT. Neusoft Medical's international business layout also attracted widespread attention from the foreign guests. They stated that this visit not only allowed them to deeply feel Neusoft Medical's innovative strength and international vision, but also further strengthened their confidence in deepening cooperation with Shenyang in fields such as medical technology and smart healthcare.

At Liaoning Fangda General Hospital, the consular officers and foreign enterprise representatives focused on inspecting the internationalized facilities and service capabilities of this modern large-scale medical complex. They took note of the in-depth cooperation model between Liaoning Fangda General Hospital and top domestic medical institutions such as Shanghai Ruijin Hospital and Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University. They believed that this model not only represents the high level of China's medical infrastructure construction, but also provides a broad platform for international medical cooperation, technological exchanges and personnel interactions, further enhancing their confidence in investing in Shenyang's health industry and participating in the revitalization of Northeast China.

This event is an important measure taken by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government to optimize the opening-up environment, strengthen opening-up platforms and improve foreign affairs services. Through on-site visits and in-depth exchanges, it has effectively enhanced the comprehensive understanding of consular missions and foreign-funded enterprises in Shenyang regarding the achievements of Shenyang's construction as an international central city in Northeast Asia, and strengthened their confidence in working, living, investing and starting businesses in Shenyang. In the next step, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government will continue to expand foreign exchange channels, improve foreign-related service standards and enhance international communication capabilities. It will also continue to build the "Hello, Shenyang" global promotion brand, promote the gathering of more high-quality foreign resources in Shenyang, and contribute more foreign affairs efforts to Shenyang's accelerated construction as an international central city in Northeast Asia and the creation of a new frontier of opening-up.
