On October 23rd, Yang Zhe, Secretary of the leading Party Members Group and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiamusi Municipal People's Government, led a research team to visit Shenyang FAO for research and a work discussion, aiming to further promote the coordinated development of foreign affairs work between the two cities. Chen Shuangwei, Secretary of the leading Party members Group and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shenyang Municipal People's Government, attended the discussion.

Director Chen Shuangwei extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiamusi Municipal People's Government and gave a comprehensive introduction to the key areas and distinctive practices of Shenyang's foreign affairs work. He stated that the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shenyang Municipal People's Government is committed to building Shenyang into an international central city in Northeast Asia. In accordance with the overall requirements of strengthening the "Foreign Affairs +" model and building an upgraded version of "International Shenyang", it adheres to the work principles of "consolidating the foundation, pursuing innovation and breakthroughs, setting higher standards, and achieving all-round improvement". The Office strives to optimize the opening-up environment, strengthen opening-up platforms, improve foreign affairs services, and expand investment promotion. It has innovatively created high-quality foreign affairs brands such as the "Hello, Shenyang" global promotion campaign and the International Friendship City Mayors' Exchange Day, and is fully committed to building Shenyang into an international exchange center city in Northeast Asia and a benchmark city for international friendship cities. He expressed the hope that taking this discussion between the two Offices as an opportunity, the two sides will learn from each other's experience and practices in foreign affairs work, plan and host cross-regional international exchange activities, and jointly explore new paths for foreign affairs work to serve the country's overall diplomacy and local economic and social development.

Director Yang Zhe expressed appreciation for the innovative development achievements of the Shenyang FAO in foreign affairs work in recent years. She also introduced the distinctive work and innovative measures of the Jiamusi FAO in serving the national border-opening strategy, deepening exchange and cooperation with Russia, and building a name card for border foreign affairs, tourism and culture. She expressed expectations for the two sides to share foreign affairs resources and jointly create brands in the next step.

During the research, Director Yang Zhe and her team also conducted on-site visits of Neusoft Medical and the one-stop service platform for foreigners at the Shenyang Immigration Service Center. They gained a detailed understanding of Shenyang's experience and practices in continuously improving foreign-related service capabilities, supporting enterprises in "going global", and striving to build a first-class international business environment suitable for living, working and traveling.

Next, based on this research and exchange, the foreign affairs offices of the two cities will further explore the establishment of a regular cooperation mechanism, jointly promote the work of to a new level, and contribute more foreign affairs strength to serving the country's overall diplomacy and local economic and social development.
