The "Connecting the World, Anchoring Hearts in Shenyang" Promotional Event on Immigration & Emigration + Cultural Tourism Successfully Held

On December 11, the "Connecting the World, Anchoring Hearts in Shenyang" Promotional Event on Immigration and Emigration+Cultural Tourism, co-hosted by the Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Public Security, the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People’s Government and the Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television was successfully held. Through the three-dimensional interaction of "policy promotion + immersive experience + intelligent services", the event presented a warm yet tech-savvy City Card to foreign nationals residing in Shenyang and international tourists. Representatives from the Consulates General of the United States, Russia, France and Germany in Shenyang attended the event. The event highlighted three upgraded integrated services of Shenyang’s "Immigration and Emigration+Cultural Tourism" initiative: First, simplified visa extension procedures. It facilitates visa extensions for tourists visiting Shenyang, where applications can be accepted upon submission of a local travel itinerary. Second, proactive integration of cultural and tourism promotion. Relevant promotional content has been added at the Exit-Entry Administration Hall, Taoxian International Airport Port and Immigration Service Center, creating a citywide publicity matrix. Third, multilingual intelligent guide services. An AI assistant named "Exit-Entry Xiao Shen" has been launched, which can provide life and consumption guidance in 10 languages for both Chinese and foreign nationals.The relevant person in charge also introduced the newly added French service function on the phone terminal of the 12376 Immigration Administration Service Platform. Starting from today, for users who select French, Russian, Japanese or Korean language services, the platform will immediately establish a three-way voice call involving "user, interpreter and operator", delivering a service response that features "one-number accessing, immediate handling upon connection, and solving problems completely". This will further provide more convenient immigration and entry-exit services for foreign nationals coming to or residing in China, and assist in creating an international first-class business environment.
