On December 12, Chen Shuangwei, Director of the Shenyang Foreign Affairs Office, led a working group to the China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenyang (referred to as the China-Germany Industrial Park) for a special research visit. The group conducted on-site inspections of key enterprises and institutions such as Bekaert Shenyang Advanced Products Co., Ltd, Launch Automotive Technology Co., Ltd, and Shenyang Zhongguancun Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Center, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the park's development and corporate needs.

During the visit, Director Chen Shuangwei listened in detail to presentations on the development of park enterprises and platform construction. They also engaged in-depth discussions with park and enterprise representatives on further deepening international cooperation and optimizing foreign-related services.Director Chen Shuangwei stated that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Germany Industrial Park. As a crucial window for Shenyang's opening-up, the park has continuously deepened cooperation with Germany and Europe, witnessed the establishment and growth of numerous enterprises, and now hosts over 130 foreign-funded companies, including BMW, ZF Friedrichshafen AG, and Michelin, aiming to become a "new benchmark for cooperation with Europe." The Foreign Affairs Office will fully leverage the mechanism of the dedicated task force serving the China-Germany Industrial Park. It will actively carry out research activities to "deliver policies, provide services, facilitate matches, and solve problems," promoting the deep integration of foreign affairs resources with the park’s development. In response to the park's actual needs for "inviting in" and "going global," the Office will actively coordinate resources such as Embassies, Consulates, sister cities, and business associations. It will provide full-process, all-element, and integrated convenient services in areas such as official overseas travel approval, APEC Business Travel Card processing, foreign affairs events support, and services for foreign nationals, supporting high-quality development of the park’s enterprises and enhancing the park's international visibility and competitiveness through multiple measures.Zhang Shaohong, Deputy Director of Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone and China-Germany Industrial Park Management Committee, expressed that further collaboration with the Foreign Affairs Office will be deepened to provide high-quality and efficient services for enterprise development, injecting lasting momentum into Shenyang's development as an international central city in Northeast Asia.
