Shenyang Foreign Affairs Office Conducts a Research Visit to Shenyang Airport Economic Zone

On March 9th, a working group led by Guo Hongyan, Deputy Director of Shenyang Foreign Affairs Office, conducted a research visit to Shenyang Airport Economic Zone. The group conducted on-site inspections of the integration of international cultural exchanges and industrial development within the zone, engaging in in-depth discussions on leveraging the airport's locational advantages to deepen international cooperation and promote the coordinated development of culture and economy.

The group conducted on-site research at the International Art Bonded Warehouse in China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone Shenyang Area, gaining a detailed understanding of its operational model, the introduction of overseas art resources, and the development of cross-border transport channels. They also thoroughly investigated ADGY Group's future development plans, progress on international projects, and the establishment of a "Culture + Manufacturing" dual-circulation ecosystem, as well as the company's needs in terms of international cooperation.During the discussions, Shen Xiaoshu, Deputy Director of Shenyang Airport Economic Zone Management Committee, outlined the zone's current plans for international exchanges and cooperation and its foreign affairs service needs. She stated that the zone would further leverage the policy advantages of the Free Trade Zone and the locational advantages of the airport to continuously deepen key areas such as international cultural exchanges and cross-border e-commerce, consistently expand the scope and depth of international cooperation and actively foster a distinctive brand of Shenyang's international cultural and economic cooperation.Deputy Director Guo Hongyan stated that Shenyang is continuously deepening its opening-up and promoting the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce. As a crucial window for opening-up, the Airport Economic Zone possesses unique locational advantages in promoting international cultural exchanges and fostering cross-border industrial cooperation. The Municipal Foreign Affairs Office will integrate high-quality foreign affairs resources, including those from embassies and consulates, international friendship cities, and business associations, to provide comprehensive and precise foreign affairs services covering areas such as applications for APEC Business Travel Cards, overseas consular protection, and supporting the construction of the first comprehensive outbound service port in Northeast China. The Municipal Foreign Affairs Office will also actively expand practical cooperation within the SCO framework, build bridges for government-enterprise communication and international cooperation, assist enterprises in the Airport Economic Zone in connecting with high-quality overseas resources, and inject new momentum into Shenyang's opening-up and high-quality development.
