On March 20, Chen Shuangwei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People’s Government, and President of the Municipal People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, led a working group to conduct research at Shenyang State-owned Assets Trusteeship Center Co., Ltd. He had in-depth exchanges with relevant principals of the Trusteeship Center of the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and Shenyang International Exchange Center Co., Ltd. The three sides held discussions and built consensus on key topics including improving quality and efficiency in the operation of Shenyang International Exchange Center, optimizing its business layout, and deepening international exchanges and cooperation.

Jiang Peng, General Manager of Shenyang International Exchange Center Co., Ltd., expressed sincere gratitude to the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People’s Government (Shenyang Municipal People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries) for its long-term care and support. Director Chen Shuangwei congratulated Shenyang International Exchange Center on the smooth completion of mixed-ownership reform and its new journey of development. He noted that the International Exchange Center is an important platform and effective carrier for the city to carry out foreign exchanges and expand international cooperation. The Foreign Affairs Office (Shenyang People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries) will continue to support the center’s development as always, take the initiative to provide targeted services, and offer all-round support in policy coordination, resource planning, and project cooperation. He expressed hope that the center will base itself on Shenyang’s realities, actively explore new paths for international cooperation, strive to build an internationally influential exchange service brand with regional impact, and contribute to Shenyang’s efforts to accelerate its development as an international central city in Northeast Asia.

At the event, Shenyang International Exchange Center and Australia-China International Exchange Center formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement, laying a solid foundation for both sides to deepen exchanges and cooperation and expand communication with Australia.
