On April 28, French Consul General in Shenyang Emmanuel Loriot and German Consul General in Shenyang Annette Sévery visited SAC Commercial Aircraft Company (SACC), touring the A220 project workshop and holding discussions. Sun Ye, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People’s Government, accompanied the visit.

Deng Yudong, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Chairman of SACC, warmly received the delegation and provided a detailed introduction to the company's relevant operations. He stated that SACC maintains deep cooperation with domestic and international aircraft manufacturers such as COMAC, Airbus, and Boeing, and has become a first-class aircraft airframe structure manufacturer in China, with smooth progress in cooperation with French and German companies. He expressed the hope that the two Consuls General would continue to show care and attention to SACC, actively recommend advantageous French and German technological resources, supply chain supporting enterprises, and high-end R&D forces, and engage in practical cooperation with SACC in more areas and at deeper levels.

Emmanuel Loriot and Annette Sévery noted that the European Union, France, and Germany attach great importance to Airbus's sustainable development and international layout. The A220 project, a cooperation between Airbus and SACC, is a successful example of deep cooperation in the global aviation industry chain. They expressed hope that through joint efforts, further progress could be made in advancing broader, more extensive, and higher-level exchanges and cooperation between Airbus and SACC.

Sun Ye thanked the French and German Consuls General in Shenyang for their strong support in promoting exchanges and cooperation between France and Germany with Shenyang. She stated that the projects of SACC are successful examples of deep industrial cooperation between China and France and between China and Germany. The joint visit of the two Consuls General to SACC reflects the high importance attached by the French and German Consulates General in Shenyang to deepening bilateral industrial cooperation. The Foreign Affairs Office of Shenyang Municipal People’s Government will maintain close cooperation with the French and German Consulates General in Shenyang, continue to build bridges for the future development of SACC, and contribute more foreign affairs efforts to deepening exchanges and cooperation between Shenyang with France and Germany in various fields.

Inheriting nearly 40 years of commercial aircraft business from Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC), it is one of the core backbone enterprises dedicated to fulfilling AVIC's primary responsibility in commercial aircraft.
