The China (Shenyang) International Sports Industry Exposition and the China (Shenyang) International Snow and Ice Industry Summit began at the Shenyang International Exhibition Center in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on July 4.

Attendees of the opening ceremony included officials from sports bureaus of Liaoning province, Heilongjiang province, and Shenyang city, as well as representatives from Shenyang Sport University.

The event covers an area of more than 50,000 square meters and contains seven exhibition areas, including areas for winter sports, professional sports recruitment, educational sports, and outdoor sports.

The event has attracted more than 500 exhibitors and will run until July 7. A number of activities will be held, including the China (Shenyang) International Snow and Ice Industry Summit, a forum on the development of Liaoning’s sports industry, and a bodybuilding contest.
