Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, announced the launch of more than 140 summer tourism activities at a press conference held on June 12.

The activities will be hosted by the Shenyang municipal people’s government and organized by organizations such as the Shenyang culture, tourism, radio, and television department.

Through promotional videos, the city will introduce summer tourism to countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, and 34 provinces of China.

The activities will be divided into five parts, and will focus on things like escaping the summer heat and exploring the city.

Water festivals, culture and art festivals, flower festivals, and climbing festivals will be offered to visitors from June to the end of August.
