Great news!"Shenyang intelligent manufacturing" made another deep-sea voyage. The Haidou-1 and the Fendouzhe have completed collaborative abyssal scientific research missions.
Supported by the national key R&D project "Capability Upgrade and Scientific Application of Key Operation Technologies of the Haidou-1", the Haidou-1 full-ocean-depth autonomous and remotely operated vehicle (ARV), independently developed under the leadership of the Shenyang Institute of Automation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, recently completed its sea trials and scientific application missions in the western Pacific Ocean.
During the voyage, the Haidou-1 and the manned submersible Fendouzhe carried out multiple rendezvous operations and joint abyssal operations at the bottom of the 7,700-meter-deep abyss. All phased indicator acceptances and abyssal scientific application tasks were successfully accomplished.
Furthermore, tailored to the actual operational requirements of the voyage, the Haidou-1 leveraged its human-machine collaboration strengths to enable seamless switching between multiple operation modes. This highlights its comprehensive effectiveness of deep-sea scientific research applications, featuring the highly integrated autonomous remote multi-mode operation and the efficient execution of multiple tasks in detection operation.
The sea trials and field applications fully verified the outcomes brought by the upgraded key operation technologies of the Haidou-1. The Haidou-1 achieved efficient adaptation and comprehensive operation for abyssal multi-task scenarios, delivering advanced and reliable technical and equipment support for the country's deep-sea research.
